Sreeranjini Kodampally is Born in a family of rich music tradition. sang her first notes under the guidance of her grand father late Kodampally Gopala Pillai,a popular musician of yesteryear's. Then continued under her father Kodampally Appukuttan Pillai. Other gurus are Pro.Palkkulangara Ambika devi. Pro.Ashtaman Pillai &Smt. T.H. Lalitha. Presently she is learning under Sangeetha Kalacharya Smt.Neela Ramgopal.Bangalore . - She has presented hundreds of concert in many prestigious stages with many reputed accompanying artists - She has also made entry in to film industry through Shaji N Karun's Swapaanam movie. - She has done several music programs for many south Indian TV channels - Her music album Nidra- music for good sleep , has received wide appreciation from many rasikas. Recognition and Awards Winner of Kerala Govt.Chembai Award for the young artist in 2009 . B-High graded Artist in AIR ( already applied for A grade ) 1st Rank holder in B.A Music,M.A Music from Calicut University.And first rank with A grade in Mphil in Music from Kerala University. Presently doing PhD in music from the university of Bangalore under Dr: BM Jayashree Won first prize in classical music continuously four times in Calicut University arts festival Represented for Kerala in South Zone . Prestigious Stages Performed many Major Sabhas across India. Performed for the special program during Chembai music festival,Guruvayoor. Performed at the 97th Indian Science Congress at Trivandrum where one of the main dignitaries was former Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh.
